the kind of fasting
6 ”No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people. 7 Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.

He suffered according to God's plan.
18 But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, he thus fulfilled. (Acts 3)
23 this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. (Acts 2) 26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” (Luke 24)

He didn't defend Himself.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. (Isaiah 53:7)
62 And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?” 63 But Jesus remained silent. (Matthew 26)

“Let me guess, you have concerns regarding raw milk. Well I’m here to tell you to get over it, in a really polite and respectful way. I too had some concerns and turns out, surprise! my concerns were fueled with false information. So I’m here to set the record straight, super straight, on the basis of my experience with the Family Cow.”
A man can’t be always defending the truth; there must be a time to feed on it.

BEAUTY
I’ve been doing a little Bible study on beauty and want to remember stuff. These are some notes for me.
1. PHYSICAL BEAUTY IS NOT BAD.
We are made in the image/beauty of God. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)
The Bible describes many people as physically beautiful.

Last night of LOST
I just want to say: I have loved the last six years of LOST. Because of the conversations it’s provoked, the questions it’s raised, the complexity of the characters, the community of fans and, mostly, because a story about redemption is more beautiful than a story about innocence.
